Mall Walkers:
I promised to see my cousins this weekend. We haven't really hang-out during their vacation and come Monday, their school starts.

So I went to my cousin's house yesterday (Saturday). We haven't decided what to do that afternoon. We only had a limited time coz I need to pick my brother up around 7pm. (And we couldn't go after 7 coz I need to pick my mother up around 1030... tsk tsk). Anyway, it was past 2pm when Gi decided that we needed to get out of the house. She suggested to just sit in the car til we've decided to go some place.

We've decided to go the mall. (What else is there to do?). But which mall?? Gi said she's been to Glendale Mall twice a week during the past month. And I did go there just last week to watch Narnia. So next mall was Burbank Media Center. We haven't been there for awhile and there's lots of theater there just in case we want to watch something.

So Burbank, we went. While walking we just decided to watch a movie. There's really nothing good on, for the good ones we've already watched. Gi called 411 for Burbank's numbers so we don't have to walk around every theater. There was really nothing until she heard "Casanova" then she hang up. It was so funny, she got so excited that she hang up and forgot to listen to the movie times.

Anyway, we went straight to the theater's computer where you can buy the tickets instead of falling in line. The movie starts at 5:15 and it's about 2hrs+. I called the Mann Theater in Glendale next. The movie there starts at 4:30pm, and it was already 4. Since I don't take the freeway, we can't make it on time.

So then we decided to go to IKEA since Gi needs some drawers for her clothes. What is so nice about IKEA is how they designed the place. It's like a gameboard where there's a start and end place. Start is the entrance of course. Then you go follow this foot path. Along the way you can see some show rooms - it's where you can get ideas on how to design your place, even if it's a very limited space. Then, you go down the stairs where you get the stuff you want from the showrooms. That's where the fun begins. Since we didn't see anything from the upstairs. We just walked around and checked out everything. Gi said that in that way, we can see everything and if we needed it, we'll just get it. Finally the End, where the cashiers are at. We ended up buying Gi's pants rack, some candles, garbage bin, and some glasses. We got out around 6:30, time to pick up Kuya Jhe.

Dude, where's my car?
Gigi suggested that we get the car first for some of the stuff were heavy and bulky. But I said that we can make it to the car, and parking was just there. So we walked with the stuff. When we get to the parking lot, the car wasn't there. We thought maybe it's on a different floor so we rode the elevator. The elevator ride was a disaster. First we pressed P2. We thought the elevator moved up so when we got out we noticed we were still on the same floor. So we went back again, this time pressed P3. When we got out and looked around, the printed wall said it was P1. Darn it, we went back again and pressed P4. We walked to the place where we knew the car was parked and alas, there's no car in there. We went back to P3, and looked at the same place, the car there was a green one. Darn it. We were thinking now that it was carnapped or something, and that if ever there's somebody monitoring the videos they were surely laughing at us, and Jhe already called us, trying to find out where we were then. Darn! We did know that it's near the Hooter's, and when we were back at where we started, Gi said that maybe we were in the wrong parking lot. So we went outside and checked. We were really in the wrong one. When we got to the right parking lot, and walked where we think we parked near the stairs, the car was still not there. So Gi said that I stayed there and she's gonna look around. As I was calling Jhe, I tried to peak at the lower stairs, there I saw the darn car.

It was very frustrating and very hilarious at the same time. We kept on laughing on ourselves.
We got out around 730pm and Gigi said that we could've watched the movie since Kuya Jhe was going to wait anyway. Oh well, we had a good laugh!

Sunday:
We watched Casanova today. It's a good one. Romantic comedy. You'll have a good laugh.

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.
