guilty

Anne

I am guilty of switching channels to avoid issues concerning poverty because I know I can’t help them and don’t have anything to offer…
I am guilty sometimes of prioritizing my own personal whims instead of helping those who are really in need…
I am guilty of playing blind and deaf to our country’s degrading economic situation and obvious chaotic political situation…

Mainly because I thought I have my own personal problems to attend…
That I should solve first these problems…

Sometimes, I can’t even be a friend to my friends who needs my help…
So major issues such as the recent stampede at Ultra and oils spill in Semirara would be too overwhelming to handle…

But I was wrong…
I am still affected and it brings pain to see these things happen.
It is so depressing…

Yes, I was wrong…
I know I can help and ask for everybody’s help…
To offer sincere heartfelt prayers and believe that faith can make changes…

I tried not to be affected but
REALITY BITES!
Our country is so poor that most Filipinos depended on tv shows.
And some VULTURES are making this into a CIRCUS.

i guess it even made our country look miserable (maybe)
and how the ultra looked like a ghost town, everyday i go to work I see it. tsk tsk tsk!
can't say much too, it just seems that we're faced with many chaos to handle, personally, now economically, but it's more of the president's problem anyway :-)
I guess that we just have to hold on to our fate and not falter to believe!

random thoughts

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.
