Speaking of hope...
Last Saturday, I met up with my cousin Ate Sha. She asked for my help in her wedding preparations. She's getting married this coming December and I'm her Maid of Honor. Very strange. Me? Wedding preps? I'm not even very good in relationships. What more, wedding? Hehe. But she told me that I've already attended so many weddings and have also always been in the entourage so more or less, I can help her, she told me.
So, that's it. I agreed to fetch her at Philippine Children's Medical Center where she's one of the resident doctors. While waiting I saw these handpaints.
I asked Ate Sha, what are these. And she told me these are the hands of child cancer patients...
I asked her if there are chances that they will survive and she told me some...Around
maybe five of them.
For a while, I can't say anything. I felt sadness. I just stare at the pictures and hope that they all survive.
