Book Worm

Dax

Another young-adult book. As I mentioned before, we are trying to read from different authors. While browsing some books, I saw this weird looking purple cover, titled "The Rise of the Wyrm Lord." I find the book itself beautiful. Every page have this purplish color on the corners, like maybe an old scroll?

Anyway, I read the summary at the back and I can't understand what it's talking about. heheh. I stared at the front cover again and noticed the number 2, so I asked Gigi to look for the first book. And she found it.

Of course, when it mentioned knights and kings and two worlds hanging in a balance, I bought it. I told myself another trilogy to look forward to.

So I finished the book around 435am today. After chatting with Anne and Sharon around 2am, I saw the book near my bed. I told myself I'm just gonna read a few chapters.

I got the book 3 weeks ago and Gi's been asking how the book was. I told her that I' haven't reached the 100th page yet and the story is kinda slow.

So then, I read some. But then the story picked up and I was even crying on some parts. I thought I was reading for an hour, when I finished the book I saw that it was past 4am already.

Anyway, The Door Within is a good book. It talks about good and evil and believing in one's self.

Now, I need to buy the next book about the Wyrm Lord and I think the third one came out last week.

But for now, I'm reading Artemis Fowl. It's interesting, the first few pages already hooked me. It's about a 12 year old boy, who's super-duper intelligent and is into criminal activities. Did I mention he's super rich and he's the crime boss??

Artemis Fowl series already have 5 books I think.

Hmm... I think if I ever get a house, I need one with a library... Dami ko ng books.

-----------
Friday today, did u see the moon?! Nice one.

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.
