Eragon

Dax

My cuz G2 and I watched Gridiron Gang last Saturday. Whenever we see a movie, we try to go early just so we can see some previews.

I was suprised to see Eragon. I didn't know that they made a movie out of this book. I just read this a few months back and it's a good read. It's like LOTR, hehehe, a trilogy. I haven't read Eldest though and the third book is coming out next year, I think.

Regularly, after the movies, our next stop is Borders (bookstore). We hang out there and read some books. As you know Gigi and I try to read a book once a month, that's why we are always there at Borders, trying to find a good book. Anyway, we always go to the New Release section to see what came out, then the Best Sellers, then to Sci-Fi, Young Adult... There we always see this picture of the dragon. Actually, there are a lot of dragons on different book covers. When we ran out of good authors to read, we checked the book out. I even joked that it sounded Aragorn of LOTR, (it was during that time) and thought it was the dragon's name.

We were amazed that this book was written by a teenager and he's already a NY bestseller at 19! Wow! Paolini, the author, wrote this when he was 15.

Back to the movie preview, I don't know who plays Eragon but I saw that Jeremy Irons and John Malcovich were there. I'm a fan of them, way back to The Man In The Iron Mask.

Oh man, then this means that I have to wait for a year or two for each book to be made in a movie.

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart.
