Woke up early today. Thought of chatting with my brother. but then he's already gone. I only get to chat with Ate Mai in San Juan. They didn't get to chat either. My brother always go online earlier than my sis in law. Anyway, they'll get to see each other soon because my brother planned to go back to the Philippines and never come back to UAE. He said he misses his children, to heck with working abroad. hehehe.
Wish everything is simpler.

Got ACS's pictures. Sharon said there is more to come. She's having a hard time uploading the pictures. I asked Anne if I can use these new pictures instead, for the main blogsite. Well, I just asked her on the tagboard so I don't have the answer yet.
I started putting back my old files and I'm not done yet. I forgot to make a backup of the photoshop brushes I downloaded. But I think I made a note on the blog where I got it. I didn't even have a photoshop file on the picture I made so I have to start from scratch again. I saved it on jpeg. Sayang. Tanga ko, I should have saved it on psd file for easier editing.
Now I'm on the hunt for PS brushes and some fonts also.

I visited Jeff Vergara's Dubai Chronicles. (He's one of the flatmate's of my Tito Jess and Kuya Den. ) I liked his pictures. I was browsing his blog, from his early entries to present. I'm still in his 2005 entries. lol. So that's what I've been doing reading his blog.
I wish I can buy my own camera now. I really like photography. Wish I can learn it. I really would like to have a camera where I can manipulate and experiment with the lenses, exposure, lighting, and whatever there is to manipulate. I think that way, you'll learn to take the best shots. So I'm thinking of buying a dslr. I've been surfing on which is best for beginners. All of them are expensive. Ranging from 800 upwards. So I better choose wisely if ever I'm going to buy one. *wish wish wish I was looking on Canon and Nikon. Canon Rebel xti and Nikon D40. But it's really too expensive for me. I could buy a 2-way ticket to Manila with that price tag.
Anyway, I'm also looking for a new digital camera where I can have manual controls to play around. I'm really looking for a canon but I don't know which one is best for me.

Oh yah... my mother bought a new laptop. I don't why but she got it. It's loaded with Windows Vista. I think it was nice. I like the graphics. Anyway, it also have Google desktop. It was cool. It was located on the sidebar. It has updated news clips, weather, scratch pad, photo & video clips and web clips. I really like the photo and web clips. On photo clips, it shows a slideshow of your pictures, either on your computer or on the web that you frequently visits. Then the web clips, it shows updated feeds of websites you visited. Of course, all these clips can be customized.
I never really customized anything yet on her laptop. That's why I was like amazed when I saw the photo clips with pictures from Deisonline. And then on the web clips, new entries from Janep. I was like 'whoa... why are these here?' So I checked the configurations. It was so cool. hahah. I'm planning to download Google desktop on my pc. This is new for me. hahah. Feeds...

While we were buying her laptop at Bestbuy, I saw this cool desktop from HP. Kaso I'm not a fan of HP. anyway, this was so cool. I love the design. You don't have to worry about the bulky cpu. Everything you need is there and some more. You can access music, tv, movie and radio. Heck, you can even record live tv. It also has 8-in1 digital media card reader, built in cam, S video, audio and composite inputs. Yun nga lang 2048mb of memory, unlike others with 1gb memo. But then hard drive is 320gb.
Did I mention that this is a touch screen monitor? Hahaha... I was playing with this stuff while we wait on the laptop.
And I think I'm beggining to fall in love with an Apple. hmmm.....
